La Società delle Api, founded by Silvia Fiorucci, celebrates its annual meeting with Grass(e) as a Lab: My Mind Is a Garden—part 1. A project of artistic and botanical experimentation at the Moulin des Ribes, in Grasse.

The project, curated by Cristiano Raimondi, interprets the “garden” as a space of artistic, theoretical, and botanical experimentation, where artists can create site-specific works, sow ideas, and build inter-species relationships. An artistic and “flowered” itinerary through the meadows of the mill, in collaboration with landscape architect Marco Bay.

Taking its cue from the role that a flower or bee might play in the production of knowledge, as well as from observation of the relationships and exchanges between different species of living beings, Grass(e) as a Lab: My Mind Is a Garden–part 1. A project of artistic and botanical experimentation aims to understand nature as a generator of alchemical processes, and give life to artistic and poetic experiments in dialogue with the heterogeneous ecosystem of the “meadow.”
